Just keep running ...

This was my BEST MONTH ever for RUNNING that is. The month total was 59.83 since March 17th. This week was 19.85 miles. I'm feeling better about what I can do. Now I just need to really figure out the best way to train properly. I'm always up for suggestions. I also need to eat better. Somehow I gained 4 pounds this month. Don't even tell me that muscle weighs more than fat. No girl wants to hear that one. Next up ... (((GULP))) real races ... 5K, 10K, half marathon. I still can't foresee a full marathon. I have to be completely nuts for that, and I'm not quite there. Or maybe I am?

Something NEW we learned TODAY

Swim Fins Benjamin Franklin was an avid swimmer from a very young age. Throughout his life he consistently promoted its healthful benefits. At the ripe old age of 11 he invented a pair of swim fins. However, unlike today's foot flippers, these were attached to one's hands. His advocacy for swimming was recognized by his induction into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1968. Cool, HUH?

Getting into the SPRING of things ...

The 4 year old and I planted a few seeds last week. She was so excited to see the seeds SPROUTING . I myself have been happy to see growth all around me. The trees, grasses, bushes, and flowers are bursting with new life and COLOR. The only thing bad I can say about this would be that my ALLERGIES are getting the best of me. I've been sneezing, blowing my nose, and itching my eyes like cRaZy . It's worth it though. Seeing all this "new" is amazing.
