There's no longer a GAP ...

As long as this girl has had TEETH, there has always been a gap between those two front teeth. When she was little it didn't really bother her much, but sometime around the age of 5, she started to tell people she lost a tooth up front. Even when she lost those baby teeth, the GAP was still there, but I'm pretty sure that was NEVER the first thing you noticed about this girl! When she reached the 11 year old mark, we were pretty sure that GAP would not close on its own ((((SIGH))))). So it was off to the orthodontist . She was given a retainer that would help to move the front teeth together, but the skin between the teeth would have to be snipped (OUCH). So, it was off to the oral surgeon to have that done ... Some snipping. Some stitching. The GAP is now fully closed and all has been HEALED! The SMILE ... even more beautiful! *Just had to throw this picture of my homeschoolers ...

TOO MUCH TECHNOLOGY ...

Sometimes this rectangular piece of equipment drives me nuts. Like when the same Disney shows are shown over and over again. A mom like me can get tired of watching Hannah Montana get a speeding ticket ... ugh. Sometimes I think I hear beeps, chirps, and other various sounds in my sleep. During the daytime hours, those sounds most likely come from the handy dandy 24/7 mini-computer/phone/ texting device. I remember when I didn't own one, or didn't hardly use it except for emergencies ;) Sometimes this magnetic screen sucks me and other family members into it for countless hours (over the course of a day). The lovely machine with an apple on it is oh so delicious. However, one can devour it for all of its entertaining value, and never really fill up. CURSE that APPLE! The machines (today's technology) are awesome. They entertain, they connect you with the world, and they provide information. I also love them because when I am feeling needy, they are there to comfo...
