"A Wink and a Smile"

I will admit that I am gifted . With 5 girls who like to talk at me (often at one time), I really can process a lot at once. However, I draw the line with 3 voices speaking at the same time. More than that I feel like I am only hearing the teacher speaking in one of those Charlie Brown specials ... "Mwaa, mwaa, mwaa, mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh". Today I accomplished a ton. It really felt good. Actually, I crossed off all the things that I needed done during this spring break of ours. IT FEELS GOOD! Today was just one of those days where I was running through my house on a mission. Everybody was talkin' at me , but I didn't hear a word they were sayin'. Only the echoes of my mind . HEY, I think that is a song;) Don't worry, I didn't totally ignore my children. They were given their own set of projects to do. This Pioneer Woman has been cracking me up for the past few days while she has been updating her site. On day one I caught site of her cute hound, then it was her husband and child from the rear (blushing), and then it was her cartoon version of herself. I have tried a few recipes and they are quite yummy, but MAN, the pictures are just fantastic! I'm so glad she made some changes and now I can view all her tricks EASIER than before! SPRING is here and I am always motivated by the season! (wow, look at me ...posting 3x in one day). I need to get out and take some more pics.

The weather has been so beautiful all week. The grass is greening up, bulbs are sprouting some beautiful flowers, and the trees are starting to grow leaves. Even my black car seems to be getting that oh so lovely pollen dust all over ... my allergies are certainly feeling that! I've been a little lazy with exercise for nearly 3 weeks now. Time to dust off the sneakers and find some good inspiring, heart pumping music to add to my iPod.

MAYBE or MAYBE I am just following the lead of my 2.5 year old who doesn't really seem that interested in using the potty. She is so excited about her big girl panties that sit in her dresser drawer. I often find them all over the floor and sometimes I find them on her (over her diaper). I would love for her to be diaper free for the summer. We swim a lot and when you are 3 (June 1st)it really looks better to don a bathing suit without a swim diaper. or MAYBE I just love the fact that this little girl is my baby and deep inside I would just like her to stay that way forever ... sigh

Saturday night was an amazing night. Just before mass I shoved a few tissues into my pocket because the emotional person that I am felt the need to be prepared. Never did I shed a tear. There were moments when I watched my husband stand at our (brand new) baptismal font and I was shaking inside. It wasn't that I was nervous (I don't think), but I just felt this very strong presence.
