TGIFriday ...

*{k}'s row of townhomes. Not a project, but some crafty session . *{b} and her animal project of a forest animal . *{m} and her 3D SLOTH for her animal rainforest project . It really felt like the longest week E V A H !!!! Lots of projects happening. Lots of rainy, icky weather. Lots of moody behaviors in this house. Looking forward to ... An afternoon production at the elementary school The 1st short course swim meet of the season ... Friday eve/Saturday Oldest daughter's 1st boy/girl "Sadie Hawkins" dance

We are LOVIN' some of these APPS

{c} and her Daddy just having some quiet time together ... I do have an iPhone, but often it is in the hands of someone much younger. WHY, you may ask? Because there are some very cool applications (apps in Apple terms). Some of {c}'s favorites ... ABC Animals ... if you have a child learning to recognize, say, or write their ABC's ... there's an app for that! DoodleBuddy ... doodle and draw (this one is fun and FREE) Matches ... memory matching game Some of Mommies favorites ... Facebook (blushing) The Weather Channel ('cause some 14 year old always needs to know what the humidity will be like) Shazam (when I need to figure out WHO SANG THAT?) Postage (fun way to share photos) iConfess ('cause this mommy needs that reminder) Twitterific (that little bird is so cute) Sirius XM (I've been known to walk around the house with ear buds in listening to my Catholic radio) Holy Rosary Awesome Note Lite ... this one is SERIOUSLY COOL and FREE! Daddy of course likes...

Gotta love the big sister who HELPS ...

My little girls have always loved roller skates/blades, but man they are a mommy's worst nightmare. I feel the need to wrap them up in bubble wrap and that can take a long time ... something I don't always feel the energy or time to do (blushing) . I love that my bigger girls are such helpers now. Even though I curse the idea of velcro-ing on all that safety gear, I can see the joy in SKATING. To feel joy is not always instant gratification. It may take a little time ... you have to be patient and appreciate it when it comes!

This keeps CREEPING ME OUT!

This lovely looking and rather friendly scarecrow is just making me take a second glance ALL DAY long ... We homeschool in the dining room and every time I walk by the window it ALMOST looks like a small child is peeking into my house. IT gives me the SHIVERS .. .
