"A Wink and a Smile"

{c} and her Daddy just having some quiet time together ... I do have an iPhone, but often it is in the hands of someone much younger. WHY, you may ask? Because there are some very cool applications (apps in Apple terms). Some of {c}'s favorites ... My little girls have always loved roller skates/blades, but man they are a mommy's worst nightmare. I feel the need to wrap them up in bubble wrap and that can take a long time ... something I don't always feel the energy or time to do (blushing) . I love that my bigger girls are such helpers now. Even though I curse the idea of velcro-ing on all that safety gear, I can see the joy in SKATING. To feel joy is not always instant gratification. It may take a little time ... you have to be patient and appreciate it when it comes!

This lovely looking and rather friendly scarecrow is just making me take a second glance ALL DAY long ... We homeschool in the dining room and every time I walk by the window it ALMOST looks like a small child is peeking into my house. IT gives me the SHIVERS .. .
