I'm making a list and checking it a million times ...

It seems every time I look at my list, there is something else to add to it ... never ending! I really try not to get caught up in what everyone else is doing, but sometimes it does stress me out because I seem sooooooooo far behind . To do ... print out mailing labels for my cards (DONE) write my Christmas cards (DONE) Christmas letter????? (only some will get this) (Not DOING ) decorate the tree (DONE) finish putting out house decorations online shop (Done SOME) buy a new top for my husband's Christmas party (I'll just wear the black capri's and boots from last year) (DONE) call carpet cleaners (DONE) and they came today! make hotel reservations for swim meet (DONE) call for donation pickup call alarm company because we keep getting beeps in the wee hours of the night (arghhhhhhh) (DONE) call vet for our doggie's yearly shots do some crafts with the girls ... hopefully today. (DONE) ... really this is an ongoing process photo-books for the Grandma's and Poppie d...

I'm really not sure what to say about this, BUT

It bothers me a lot. One minute they throw us this study THEN, they say UH, OH to this study This world can be so darn frustrating. Honestly, I wish I could better articulate how I feel, but today my head is filled with too much pressure ... clogged sinuses and way too many thoughts. **And just in case I was "thinking" of going to the doctor for a prescription for this sinus thing I got ... there is this study . They got a study for everything. Gotta move on ...

All I want for Christmas is this ...

I love that my 5 year old made a collage instead of a list. On Saturday when everyone was pretty busy with school work and housework, {b} occupied herself with her own work. She got busy with many of the catalogs just sitting around and did some cutting and pasting. She is such a resourceful girl!

The FIRST STEP ....

My husband asked me if I was going to blog about him tonight. I told him ..." probably not!" HOWEVER, I changed my mind ... I AM! Today he took his first step into the Church. Today was The Rite of Acceptance into the Church. It really was a very special time for my husband, for me, and for our family. I really don't know the words to express the way I feel ... a myriad of feelings. Taking this step has not been one pushed by me. I have known my husband (from when we started to date) since 1987. We got married in '95 and all of our girls have been baptized and raised in the Catholic faith. The exposure has been there, but never the real "pressure". Back in August I jokingly threw my husband an RCIA pamphlet from our Church, and he said to me "I was thinking of going to the next meeting". REALLY????? I was quite excited, but then I didn't want to make a huge deal. I knew that this was a step that could be encouraged, but not forced by myself. I ...
