When I hear this I feel like MOVIN'

HEY, Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, ... Some commenter mentioned how his dancin' was creepy. NONSENSE, I say! The man is 41 and sounds great AND looks great. PLUS he makes me want to run on my treadmill. AND, I know who MISTER MISTER is (LOL) So that make's him pretty great in my books ;) *move onto the black area to find the PLAY arrow ;)

Prayers ...

For the people of Haiti, that they may be comforted in their time of suffering. For the families of those missing, may God's healing presence comfort them in the time of uncertainty. For those providing relief, that God may give them the strength and courage to assist those who are most in need. For those who have died, that they may rest in the eternal peace of God. LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER ... * General Intercessions from CRS

It's way too quiet over here ...

All of my children are somewhere else. I'm trying my best to not get sucked into this computer . Of course I did sneak in a few computer breaks between my cleaning and cooking. Sarah over at Clover Lane posted some new changes to blogger that I just needed to try  experiment with. I've got a quiet, but busy weekend ahead.  Hmmmm ... think that may be an oxymoron. I get to watch my cute 7 year old play basketball.  She makes me smile with her intensity and silliness (all in one). My 3 bigger girls will be at a meet ... SWIM FAST!!!!!!! Teaching Sunday school and will be touching on the tragedy in Haiti with some of this advice Organizing the homeschool room.  Some changes are going on and I need to move things around.

Taking back control of TV

Heard about this recently on the radio ... Mpower breakthrough technology gives you the media control you’ve always dreamed of—control over the TV and Internet content in your own home, according to your own standards. Interesting! I am curious to see if it takes off and if it is successful. *Don't view this with children present

Dinner and Dogs ...

Looks good, eh? I'm cheating a little with a ready chicken from SAMS. Instead I cooked my spaghetti in chicken stock. This big guy loves to lay on my vent in the winter and the summer months ... hogging any sort of air to make the family room comfortable. This is the "I was sleeping look". I've said it before, but this puppy is work. I'm sure you couldn't tell at all from this photo. He looks all innocent and sweet. You almost want to kiss those pink dog lips. Slightly out of focus picture of Comet. Here he is enjoying a quiet moment chewing the bone that he almost never gets to eat in peace. I'm cooking one of Pioneer Woman's dishes tonight and couldn't help but to share some doggies as well. They go hand in hand, don't they?

I could use a little DECORATING HELP in my home ...

When this is the ARTWORK that adorns my walls ... When these are the accessories that I find laying around ... When you can buy BUBBLE GUM and it isn't even a store .. . I know my house contains 7 people, 2 dogs, and 3 fish, but STILL ... Somedays I long for a home ... without dings in the walls with some artwork that wasn't hand done by a child under the age of 14 free of scratches on furniture, or stains on carpets that doesn't contain 23 hair bands improperly located with a staircase not containing random items found scattered throughout the home that doesn't need vacuuming 2x a day It's not that I don't love all that live in my home ... for I do. I just get a little frustrated over messes. I get a tad bit envious of those homes that I just saw on the weekend decorating/ do it yourself shows. There are days that I just wish I could wave a wand and make it all look clean, organized, and decorated. That would be a DREAM. (Blessed) I live here and I will do...
