"A Wink and a Smile"

Was soooooooo much f u n ! The children were well behaved, the weather was just perfect, and of course I got to snap a few good pictures (which I love). I love this photo of Miss {c} and her very big smile. She was so genuinely excited to run through the mazes. This was {c}'s field trip partner who was ALSO very excited and willing to smile for the camera. I love how little girls this age like to hold hands and get close. So sweet! This was the entire class. Except for the one girl sitting under the scarecrow, everyone was happy and silly! Such a great day with my littlest girl :)

So it's been another week where I haven't checked in. Can I get by with the busy excuse? It is, however, the end of the school year and I KNOW some of you can relate to the chaos that comes with these days.As I recall (as much as my memory can), this past weekend was Mother's Day . For some moms that may mean a relaxing day ... one that may involve pampering or even a bit of solitude. I'm guessing that for most that would not be the case. It certainly wasn't for me. Who invented this holiday anyway? I spent my Mother's Day doing what I do most other days ... being a mom and watching my girls SWIM . Before we headed to day 3 of the swim meet, I MADE my girls take a picture with their MUTHA (that's my mom's NY accent). My husband's company spent some volunteer  time on Thursday setting up the arts and crafts tables that would be part of the June 5-7th festivities.  Later on he got an awesome tour of the new village that they just built adjacent to the Heifer International  Headquarters.  His excitement over this really made us want to bring out the entire family. and everything about my children.  I love to brag and post photos of them.  Frankly they are way cuter than I am , and they seem to have a much more exciting life .  I am just their caretaker who drives them to the places they need to go. Does that make my blog boring?  I'm sure it does a little. DO I CARE????????  Not really. I actually have substantial thoughts (quite often), but most of the time my handy dandy voice recorder is not nearby for me to remind myself to blog about it. *yes, my husband actually gave me one to help me in my time of need I sit here alone right now and think ... "now what was I thinking about earlier?" STILL THINKING ... Shucks, I forgot.  I think I think too much.  Maybe that is my problem. So instead I give you just another photo of one of my children.  She probably gets the most posts out of my girls.  I'm not sure why because I love them all the same ... really I do.  I have to try to remember to give equal postings.  SEE HOW FLAWED I ...
