"A Wink and a Smile"

I've been a little busy (nothing new there). After a 2 month hiatus from running, I started back up at the beginning of February. IT wasn't even 2 weeks later that I was (*volunteered*) asked to join in on a relay marathon for Little Rock. I said (gulp) YES! I'm leg 2 of the 4 runs and will be doing 6.9 miles. I'm doing it for two reasons ... I'm 40 and this was something I said I would do for myself in the year I turned 40 (guess 3 weeks later isn't too soon), and I heard the medals that they give out are HUGE !!!! With all this running, I've noted some hints of SPRING in my garden. I love seeing the bit of color peek out when most everything looks brown and sad. Bring on the color and the nicer weather ... I AM READY!

This week's theme was "Words ..." What better word than g - i - r - l - s I've got one for each letter Beautiful day ... Pretty girls !
