"A Wink and a Smile"

I'm lucky in that I have an easy vacation spot ... my mom's house on the beach. It's a quiet little place that requires a spendy ferry ride to get on the island. Residents get a break with ferry passes, but it is still not cheap. The positive with this, is that you won't deal with crowds. It has some beautiful backdrops so that someone like myself can snap, snap away ... AND, I did take a lot of pictures (close to 800) If you were thinking "that's it?" ... don't worry, there are a lot more pictures to follow .

circa '01 circa '03 circa '04 circa '06 I loved when I could get them all to wear matching bathing suits. Unfortunately the almost 13 year old doesn't look as cute in a bathing suit that a 3 year old would wear. Times change ... children grow ... sigh! *I just love the top photo of my 2nd daughter. Her little cheeks sticking out of her suit. That "super swimmer" today does not resemble that chubby little body anymore.

MAY '08 Pictures have now made it home! Now I just need to organize them. More to come ...

Oh where oh where could I have gone ? Not hard to believe ... THE BEACH GREAT FUN and oh so relaxing, but now it is time to get BUSY. Tomorrow is the last of our summer break and we have a bunch to do before school begins on Wednesday. I am nervous, excited, but most of all happy to be teaching at home . WISH ME LUCK ...
