A little {C} funny from earlier today ...

While I spent the morning at the State swim meet with my two older girls, my super husband watched the little girls. Also being watched was the GODFATHER on tv (not the best choice with a 2, 5, and 7 year old, but they were off playing ... I think). Apparently they had a marathon on AMC the past few days and we had it recorded on our DVR. My husband loves these movies. I am not sure why????? Could be the large, Catholic families, the violence, loyalty, New York, etc. ANYWHOOOOOOOOOOO ... there was a scene where someone was having their communion and a boys choir was singing (in their very high voices). Little {C} who was just 2 in June, looked up and said to my husband "I hear Jesus !". Godfather and Jesus. Not sure those two would be mentioned together (LOL).

My life these days ...

Seems centered around a lot of water. Most notably this kind ... I snapped this photo last night at my daughter's summer league swim championships. The other pool was mostly being used, but this side (with the diving tank) was quiet ... STILL . I took the opportunity to snap 5 pictures with 5 different ISO's (in the P mode). This is 1600 and I think it came out pretty cool. I love the stillness of the water, but you can also see the busyness of the people in the refection. Last night I decided that THIS would be the photo that I would print in 8x12 and hand in for my homework assignment (for my photography class). It describes my life lately ... perfect!

The Loveliness of "The Seashore" coming soon ...

MONDAY, July 30th! This is my very first time hosting, but I think it will be fun! Instead of giving out my e-mail address, I think I would prefer you to leave me a link under comments for this post (by late Sat. 7/28). Hopefully that is okay. Can't wait to view the responses ! *I did get yours Laurie ;)

Just needing this little reminder ...

After having one of those days, I look back at this post from nearly 10 months ago ... "An EXPERIENCE, not an EXPERIMENT" ... the words my sister said to me today. I spilled out my feelings to {H} about how I have been feeling ... a complete and utter mess. I don't always feel like I have Scott's support even though he tells me that I do. I feel like I need it written in stone ... you are smart, capable, and will do an awesome job! I know nothing is that definite, but I can't help to wish that it could be. We talked about how I am so unhappy with the schools and I feel compelled to make a change and to homeschool. She says that I don't speak with uncertainty, even though I seem to have those thoughts in my head. She says I know what I want, and I HAVE made a decision. What I need to do is to let it rest for now, since I am not planning on homeschooling until next year. Her brilliant idea of finding some extra resources never occurred to me. She asked how much ...
