"A Wink and a Smile"

Yesterday I bought my husband some new pants for work because he was in desperate need of them. This man will wear things until they wear out  ... holes and all.  So like the wonderful wife that I am, I purchase him a pair of (nothing fancy) "Docker" type pants, BUT they were a different brand so I did not want to just remove the tags and place these pants on a hanger in his closet.   Let me just note that THESE PANTS (neatly folded with the tags on them) will sit on his dresser till dust starts to form on them. WHY? WHY does he not TRY THEM ON and WEAR THEM? His excuses ... It's too hard right now He doesn't have time to unfold, try on, and take tags off HUH? If a girl gets something new, it practically comes out of the bag and onto the body IMMEDIATELY. Men are w e i r d . (at least mine is)

HERE LUCKY GUY!!!!! He got into NY last night for a quick business trip. He was hoping to get in a METS game, but the people he was meeting with felt bad that he was traveling alone and thought he needed a dinner instead (silly folk). I think my husband would have preferred the game. Tonight he will be home, but I am so glad that he was able to squeeze in mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. I have stepped foot inside many times, but never have I sat for mass. He did the whole deal and even snagged some goodies from their gift shop ... can't wait to see.

... my husband and I got engaged. I wonder what percentage of married couples were engaged on Valentine's Day? It was a magical evening when I was proposed to by my dear. He is my best friend. He makes me smile everyday. He brings humor and joy to my days. He is a great helper ... definitely my partner in this journey called life. He works very hard at his job ... a wonderful provider. He is a romantic and a great gift giver (way better than I). His strong arms always give me the greatest of hugs when I need it the most. I AM SO LUCKY. Happy Valentine's Day to my Dearest LOVE !

I have been tagged by Cris , so here goes ... 1. We started dating when we were both 16 ... a summer romance that has lingered for 20 years (this July 24th). 2. My husband sought me out. I had no idea who he was, but apparently he thought I was cute. OF course I thought the same of him once I met him. 3. We got married in Disney World in May 27, '95, but we married eachother AGAIN Novemer 27th, 2001. The second wedding was in the Catholic Church. We actually had to go to the courts and get a new license. I would even marry my husband a 3rd time ... 4. WE compliment eachother very well. My husband is brilliant, but most of the time I am his memory or his common sense. I may be blonde, but I refuse to play one. I can't even tell you how many times this man has misplaced his wallet, his keys, or his sunglasses. 5. Early on in our marriage, my husband wanted 2 children, I wanted 3, but we got 5.
