Yesterday I took a few of my girls (10 and 8 year old) to the library for their book club. Little {c} ... the NOW 3 year old, sat with me at a table perusing some books. She was so intent - turning the pages and actually looking at the words and pictures. I was quite impressed at her level of concentration. So I thought.
After a few minutes, {c} tapped me on the arm and whispered "Mommy, those ladies are talking about Disney World".
Here I thought she was almost reading a book, but really she was eavesdropping on a conversation happening at the next table over from ours.
WOW, {c} has figured out something I did not think was possible of a 3 year old.
What TALENT!
I know, because this is something I am very good at as well ;)
