I never thought I would hear that from my 3 year old.
Today she was riding on the shoulders of my FIL (who is visiting for the first time in nearly 2 years). Little {c} asked if Poppie Steve lived with Grandma Gerry (my mom). He said no ... he lives with Grandma Caryl (my husband's mother). They went on to talk about how Grandma G is mommy's mom and Grandma C is daddy's mom. My 3 year old had the hardest time understanding this (because we all know that parents don't really have parents), but she was certain of this and told my FIL that "Mary is the REAL mom and God is our FATHER". Pretty soon they were talking religion.
I guess she listens a little at church nursery and at home ;)
